Event Details

You Have Your DNA Results - Now What? Part 2 is more of a workshop format, actually
working with matchlists and results at multiple levels, using chromosome browsers, painting
chromosomes, determining who to test next, how to transfer results to GEDmatch to
compare results from all 3 companies, additional tools available, etc. It includes interactive
examples for the audience in choosing which tests are best and who to test next.

After a career as a research cell biologist, Sandy Murray happily continues
to work with DNA in a genetic genealogy setting. She is particularly
interested in helping genealogists who have received their “DNA results”
and “matches” but have no idea how to work with them. You can utilize
those results in breaking down brick walls, confirming relationships, filling
in family trees and suggesting new directions for traditional genealogical
research.
