Event Details

Join us for a panel discussion featuring the authors of East Side of Addiction:

The East Side of Addiction tells the story of how drug addiction ravaged a working class immigrant enclave in Worcester, Massachusetts and the close-knit group of young friends who lived there—and how several of the lucky ones managed to survive. It is the story of recovery and overcoming addiction.   The authors will lead a discussion that focuses on risk factors for developing the disease of addiction, the feelings from which alcohol/drugs provide relief, and the various forms denial takes in keeping a person addicted.

Copies of the book will be on sale at the event or reserve a copy ahead of time through our catalog
